Terms of Service
Last updated 7 October 2026
1. Who we are
Literess (literess.com and the app at write.literess.com) is provided by:
Vitalii Vlasiuk Psychothrone Studiopl. Wolnica 13 lok. 10, 31-060 Kraków, Poland
NIP 6772527101 · REGON 542097988
[email protected]
By creating an account or using Literess, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Literess is a writing app with an AI companion. It has an editor, an assistant that reads your work and talks with you about it, and a review mode in which the assistant's edits arrive as suggestions you accept or reject.
Literess is in an invite-only beta and is free to use during the beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will publish the prices first. Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan.
3. What you need
A current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge with JavaScript enabled, an internet connection, and an email address to receive sign-in codes.
4. Your account
An account is for one person. Keep access to your email address secure, because whoever can read your sign-in codes can enter your account. You are responsible for activity under your account, including what any outside agent you connect does there.
5. Your writing is yours
You keep all rights to what you write and upload. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only as far as needed to run Literess for you, including sending it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Your work stays private unless you publish it yourself.
6. About AI suggestions
The assistant's replies and edits come from AI models. They can be wrong, unoriginal or unsuitable. Every edit arrives as a suggestion for you to review, and you decide what to keep. You are responsible for what you publish.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Literess to store or create unlawful content, to infringe other people's rights, to try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or to overload or attack the service.
8. Availability and changes
Literess is a beta. We work to keep it running, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access, and features may change. If we ever shut Literess down, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your work.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Literess at any time. To have your account deleted, write to [email protected]. We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.
10. Liability
Literess is provided free of charge during the beta and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for lost content, so keep your own exports of work that matters to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Complaints
Send complaints to [email protected]. Describe the problem and how to reach you. We will reply within 14 days.
12. Law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
